Physical Activity: One of the Contributing Factors to a Healthy Weight

It's a New Year . . . Are you looking for ways to enjoy a healthy and energetic 2008?

Then join Community Nutritionist Cheryl Ogaranko and in motion Coordinator Deanna Betteridge for an educational session on the art and science behind a healthy lifestyle. They will discuss how we, as a society, think about food, nutrition, diet, and physical activity. Cheryl and Deanna will also share some tips on planning and preparing for your day and how to balance healthy food choices and physical activity.

The session will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 from 12:10-12:50 p.m. in the Carol Shields Auditorium, 2nd floor at the Millennium Library.

Admission is free of charge and drop-ins are welcome.

For more information, call Deanna at 940-1676. Please feel free to pass this information on to your co-workers, family and friends.

Physical Activity: One of the Contributing Factors to a Healthy Weight is part of in motion Fridays, a series of monthly workshops that promote physical activity for better health.

The in motion @ the Library series is sponsored by Winnipeg in motion and the Millennium Library. For a complete list of workshops, visit:
