St. Boniface Hospital Nurse Tim Hague has won the The Amazing Race (Canada).

Tim, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2011, teamed up with his son, Tim Hague Jr., for the physically gruelling, 10-leg, 23,000 km coast-to-coast adventure.

For their efforts, they won the top prize of $250,000, the opportunity to fly free for a year for two anywhere Air Canada flies worldwide and two 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingrays.
