Cognition Toolkit
The cognition toolkit workgroup convened in September 2009 to develop resources for occupational therapists to further guide their practice in the area of cognitive assessments and assist them to increase interprofessional colleagues' knowledge of OT roles, responsibilities and competencies in cognitive assessments and interventions. Local experience suggested that despite a high prevalence of cognitive impairment across the age span, utilization of occupational therapy (OT) expertise in cognitive assessments and interventions remains low in some sectors of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA).

A content validity study generously supported by the Grace Hospital/Grace Hospital Foundation was recently completed.
