Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology

Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services are provided to preschool children ages birth to school entry, living within the geographic boundaries of the WRHA through Children's Therapy Network of Manitoba (CTNM). Services are family-centered and based on the needs of the child and family. They are provided at out-patient clinics based on the child's home address.

WRHA Pediatric SLP services are available at: 

  • ACCESS Norwest
  • ACCESS Winnipeg West
  • ACCESS Fort Garry
  • ACCESS St. Boniface
  • ACCESS Transcona
  • ACCESS River East
  • Aikins Community Health Centre
  • Seven Oaks Health & Social Services
  • Specialized Services for Children and Youth Centre (SSCY).
  • Health Sciences Centre-Children's Hospital provides specialized SLP services including the craniofacial team, inpatient services, voice and stuttering.

Who can refer?

Referrals are accepted from family members or professionals.

How to refer

All referrals, including those outside of the Winnipeg region, are processed through SSCY/CTNM Central Intake using the Winnipeg referral form

Central Intake will re-direct the referral to the appropriate provincial region.
