Dr. Joss Reimer appointed Canada's next Chief Public Health Officer

We are pleased to congratulate Dr. Joss Reimer on her new role as Canada's next Chief Public Health Officer. This well-deserved appointment reflects her exceptional leadership, dedication, and expertise to the advancement of healthcare and health outcomes.

Dr. Reimer has made immense contributions that have significantly driven meaningful impact within the healthcare system. Perhaps most notably, she served as the Medical Lead and Official Spokesperson for Manitoba's Provincial COVID-19 Vaccine Taskforce, where she led the province through the largest and most successful vaccine campaign in provincial history. Dr. Reimer was also voted Humanitarian of the Year by Doctors Manitoba in 2022 and served as the President of the Canadian Medical Association for 2024-25.
