Misericordia Health Centre’s Eye Care Centre of Excellence, open 24/7 for eye emergencies, is the largest comprehensive surgical and treatment program in Western Canada serving Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, the Territories and Nunavut.
Nearly 30 staff surgical ophthalmologists perform more than 13,000 eye surgeries annually, including sight-restoring corneal transplants.
