Indigenous Employee Retention for Managers
Half-Day Workshop
GOAL
This workshop provides information to support diversity in the workplace with an emphasis on an Indigenous representative workforce.
THE WORKSHOP
This workshop will enhance a participant's understanding of the dynamics of Indigenous employment and explore how workplace culture may affect the retention of Indigenous staff. The workshop explores themes and issues emerging from participant experiences to identify concrete and productive solutions.

- How to create a workplace environment that values an individual's diversity
This workshop was developed by the Aboriginal Services Committee which is comprised of representatives from Manitoba Blue Cross Employee Assistance Program, WRHA Indigenous Health, WRHA Human Resources, Manitoba Health Care Unions, Provincial Regional Health Authority Representatives, and Indigenous & Community Organizations.

It is recommended that participants complete the Indigenous Cultural Awareness Workshop prior to this workshop.
