Street Connections Van Stolen

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority
Published Monday, March 4, 2024

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority would like to advise that the van used by Street Connections for its evening outreach program was stolen over the weekend.

The vehicle is described as a white 2013 Nissan NV 2500 SV with large Street Connections logos on the sides. A photo of the van is below.

If you spot the van or are approached by someone in the van, please be aware that it is not Street Connections staff. Please call the Winnipeg Police non-emergency line at 204-986-6222 or 9-1-1.

Despite the unfortunate setback, Street Connections Evening Outreach will continue to operate normally as scheduled in a rental vehicle with Street Connections signage on the roof.

Updates will be provided if the van is located and back in operation.

Street Connections is part of Healthy Sexuality and Harm Reduction in the WRHA's Population and Public Health Program. Public health nurses and outreach workers drive around the city six evenings a week working to reduce the spread of sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections, and reduce other drug related harms.

For more information, please contact WRHA communications at [email protected].
