Weather-related service delay update

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is deactivating the Severe Weather Response Plan for community health services, which includes home care services.

Home Care Visiting Nursing Services will resume shortly, with high risk clients being prioritized.

The remainder of home care services for clients is expected to resume as soon as possible with the majority resuming as early as this evening. There may still be delays or cancellations due to the ongoing storm.

Clients who have already made alternate arrangements can advise their case coordinator or nurse, or call the after-hours service line at 204-788-8331.
