National Immunization Awareness Week 2025

Not so many years ago, there was no way to protect yourself from diseases like polio, diptheria, meningitis or measles. People suffered serious consequences from these diseases, including death.

Vaccines can prevent that. They are proven to be safe and effective, and greatly improve health outcomes

We don't want to turn back the clock.

Immunize Canada champions everyone staying up to date on all recommended vaccinations, so that they can live healthier lives protected against preventable diseases.

Don't let history repeat itself. Protect your future. Get immunized.

How do I check my immunization records?

You can get your immunization record by submitting a request via the Immunization Update Request Form and it will be mailed to you.

You may also be able to get a copy by:

  1. Contacting your local public health office
  2. Check if your local medical clinic or physician's office can provide them to you
  3. Asking at a local nursing station or health centre

The Manitoba Immunization registry was started in 1988. Immunizations provided prior to 1988 are unlikely to be included in Manitoba Health's official registry. Please check for paper records at home or with your local health care provider.

For more information on immunization records, visit the Government of Manitoba's website.

Where do I go to get vaccinated?

Vaccines can be provided by primary care providers, or at walk-in clinics, ACCESS Centres and pharmacies. Contact your provider or clinic to confirm they provide the vaccine you need and whether they require an appointment.
