Walk-In Connected Care

Walk-In Connected Care Clinics (WICC) are available to the general public on a walk-in basis to meet unexpected health care needs during times when it is difficult to see your regular care provider. Can I go to WICC if I already have a regular health care provider?

Yes, WICC is for everyone, although they're not a replacement for regular visits with your health care provider.  They are designed to help you access care for unexpected health care needs, when your regular provider may be closed or difficult to access.  Information about your visit to a WICC clinic can be shared with your regular health care provider to keep your medical records accurate and up-to-date.

Can I go to WICC if I don’t have a regular health care provider?

If you don’t have a Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner and are looking to find one, please contact Family Doctor Finder at 786-8111. Or, if you need help finding a regular health care provider, WICC staff can help connect you with one.
