Regional Pharmacy Program

As a team of nearly 400 people, the WRHA Pharmacy Program delivers comprehensive pharmacy services across acute care, complex chronic care, specialty ambulatory care clinics, and primary care settings.  Our team works each day to model and uphold the WRHA values of compassion, collaboration, inclusivity, accountability, integrity, and equity.

Within a highly automated drug distribution system, our pharmacy assistants and pharmacy technicians work to their scope of practice managing most of the day-to-day drug distribution activities.

Our pharmacists focus on providing direct patient care as valued members of interdisciplinary teams across a variety of practice settings, including acute medicine, surgery, acute oncology, critical care, emergency, pediatrics, mental health, complex chronic care, renal health and dialysis, renal transplant, HIV, and primary care.
