Mental Health & Addictions Recovery Services

The WRHA Mental Health & Addictions Recovery Service provides a range of mental health and addictions services. The services are committed to providing a responsive and inclusive system aimed to restore, promote and maintain well-being for the residents of the Winnipeg Health Region.  The Mental Health & Addictions Recovery Services works in partnership with many community services and agencies as well as programs within the WRHA to provide a continuum of care to meet the unique needs of individuals and their families who may be experiencing mental health and addiction difficulties.

In addition to treatment and service delivery the Mental Health & Addictions Recovery Service is involved in education and training, research, evaluation, knowledge exchange, practice development, quality and improvement, mental health promotion and policy and planning activities which supports service delivery and informs population mental health and addictions needs for the region.
