The team at Beacon Hill Lodge seeks to maintain a home-like, warm and welcoming environment. Maintaining the dignity and respect of our residents during all aspects of their care is fundamental. Our person-centered approach encourages resident and family participation in care planning according to their values and wishes. We work to provide holistic care that takes into consideration physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. We support our residents to continue pursuing life-long goals and interests, new and old, in order to enhance their quality of life. Our attitude is based upon the conscious recognition that Residents do not live in our place of work, but that we work in our Residents’ homes.

Beacon Hill offers bright and spacious private and semi-private rooms that are great for couples. Each of the rooms has a large window that opens and is furnished with a bed, night table, closet, chair and each room has its own washroom. Residents and families are encouraged to decorate the room with their own personal touches. We have a large, comfortable lounge on our main floor in addition to smaller lounges on each floor. The sunroom on the second floor offers a resident library, a lounge area for quiet visits and a kitchen area for families to hold their own gatherings. We have many programs and services including: home-cooked meals, an outdoor patio with trees and a garden, recreation activities and outings, Spiritual Care, in-house and visiting pets, Occupational Therapy/Rehabilitation Services, Social Work, Dietitian, and a Hair Salon.
