Winnipeg Regional Health Authority Youth Services (Winnipeg Residents Only)

Youth Mental Health & Addiction Recovery Service

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's Youth Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Service offers voluntary, youth-directed, short-term counselling for youth (aged 12-18), with opportunities for youth and their caregivers to attend sessions together. Our goal is to provide accessible, low-barrier support by offering counselling in-office, virtually, and in the communities where youth live.

Our service accepts referrals via primary care providers and self-referral (completed by youth or caregiver).

South Winnipeg Mental Health Team Child and Adolescent Mental Health

South Winnipeg Mental Health Team Child and Adolescent Mental Health provides mental health services for children and adolescents including groups, consultation, individual short-term therapy and /or family support.  Services are available for those who either reside in or have a Primary Care Provider located within the Fort Garry/River Heights Community area.  Referrals can be faxed to our office by any primary care provider.  For information please contact 204-940-7494.

Shared Health Addictions Services

COMPASS Youth Rehabilitation and Recovery Inpatient Treatment Service

COMPASS Youth Rehabilitation and Recovery Inpatient Treatment Service is an in-house program and licensed childcare facility for youth (aged 13-17) who want support to change their use of alcohol or drugs. Services are voluntary and for those who have not been able to make changes using community resources.
