After Hours Referral

The Antenatal Home Care program operates 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

For referrals being made outside of these hours, the following procedure applies:

• Call the program desk at 204-792-5463 and leave a message about the client being referred
• Complete the Antenatal or Postpartum referral form and fax it to 204-940-2189 along with copies of:
  • Current lab results (serum and urine testing done within 24 hours of referral)
  • Prenatal record
  • Medication list (med rec)
  • Fetal assessment report, obstetrical triage assessment documents (if applicable)

Note: referrals faxed to the program are deemed "pending" until reviewed by a program nurse. Once acceptance is confirmed, attending health care provider(s) will be notified.
