Health Sciences Centre provides tertiary services and is the Provincial Trauma, Burn and Neurosurgical Centre:

• Medical Intensive Care Unit
• Surgical Intensive Care Unit
• Intermediate Intensive Care Unit

St. Boniface Hospital provides tertiary services and is the Provincial Cardiac Centre of Excellence:

• Acute Cardiac Care Unit (ACCU)
• Intensive Care Cardiac Sciences (ICCS)
• Intensive Care Medicine Surgery (ICMS)

There is also 1 critical care unit with the capability of providing invasive monitoring and mechanical ventilation at each of the following hospitals:

• Grace Hospital
• Brandon Regional Health Centre
