January 6, 2022 – The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is advising residents of Winnipeg that community health services - home care services, in particular - are being affected due to staff shortages resulting from COVID-19 illness and isolation requirements.

July 29, 2021 – The WRHA would like to inform the public that we have been made aware of an unauthorized person who posed as a health care worker between July 2 and July 17, working several shifts at St. Boniface Hospital, performing the duties of an uncertified health care aide (UHCA).

Data breach results from bag theft

April 9, 2021 – The WRHA advises that on March 26, 2021, a bag belonging to a Home Care employee of the WRHA was stolen from her vehicle. The bag contained information pertaining to the employee's daily schedule of activities, including personal health information for her clients.
