The paper describes a framework with five key components to promote health equity.
EQUIP Health Care Toolkit Providing equity-oriented care is complex, but can start with very small changes. This toolkit provides health care providers and organizations with easy-to-use tools, to take the theory and evidence behind equity-oriented care and put it in real, concrete terms. It includes examples of how to shift conversations, practices and clinic spaces toward equity.

Ontario Health Equity Impact Assessment (2012) This decision support tool which walks users through the steps of identifying how a program, policy or similar initiative will impact population groups in different ways. It supports improved targeting of health care investments—the right care, at the right place, at the right time.
