Mental Health & Addictions Advisory Council
The Mental Health & Addictions Advisory Council is an opportunity for individuals with lived experience, family members, and other interested individuals to provide input regarding mental health and addictions service planning, implementation, and evaluation. Volunteer members dialogue on a broad range of health and human service issues that impact the lives of people with mental illness, addictions challenges, and their support networks. There are 8 to 16 members on the Council. A minimum of 60% of the Council are people with lived experience of mental health and addictions services and their family/natural supports.
