Quality Improvement & Patient Safety (QIPS) Communications Committee
The Communications Committee strives to provide meaningful and useful communications to staff across the region. Our goal is to provide staff with information that is helpful and meets or exceeds their needs. Our team works in close partnership with regional quality, patient safety, communications, and staff across the region to provide the most up-to-date information on regional quality improvement and patient safety initiatives including Accreditation, Required Organizational Practices (ROPs), Policy Alerts such as Medication Reconciliation (Med Rec) and Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) news, Quality Improvement Planning, Clinical Audits, Regional Patient Safety Culture Surveys, Client Relations, Regional Patient experience Surveys, RL6, Patient Safety Event Learning, LEAN Six Sigma, Workshops and Educational opportunities, Conferences, Special Announcements, and much more.
Support Regional Communication and Information Sharing
The Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Communication Committee works in close partnership with the WRHA Communications team to provide staff with unified and concise messaging on important topics that matter to staff across the region. Our communications highlight successes across the region and promote learning and collaboration. Sharing best practices and learning from each other helps achieve our shared quality and patient safety goals. These partnerships are instrumental to this important work and have a profound impact on our quality and patient safety outcomes!
